6 Nations Rugby: Scotland vs Italy

The 6 nations rugby tournament is like the NFL playoff except for rugby and not Football. For those who had no idea that this existed, well it does and its pretty sweet. The last day of games Scotland and Italy played eachother in Scotland in Edinburgh. So being in Edinburgh and a sports fan in general and a touristy young man. My self and a large group of American study abroad students bought tickets weeks before. Aswell as many of my Europian pals also went. The game was two days after Saint Patricks day and the day after I had traveled to Stirling for kicks and giggles with one of my American pals and her parents.
The day started off with a brunch at the American girls flat of whom i went to Stirling with. So I woke up early (as is the fashion) and made pancake batter at my flat, packed my bag half way full of beer. Then got dressed and packed my kilt and sporran that I had aquired the day before. I didnt get the kilt just for the game that would have been nerdy. I also bought it so that I could walk around my flat block in it and turn heads, clearly! But any who grabbed my ticket and swiftly went out the door. After walking/ sprinting/ spead walking/ dancing through the large crouds on the city streets, I got to the American girls flat. She is the "American girl" because I do not want to use her name, not because she is infact a very expensive young girls doll. So I go up to her flat change into my kilt in her vacant room and return to the kitchen to cook the pancakes. After being reasure that I look dashing I continued to wear the kilt with compression shorts underneath of them (it was abit brezzy on the walk over).  After the brunch, which was infact just a very late breakfast with heavy drinking which was not so much fun, very one collected themselves to take a local transport city bus to the feild. Of course I look in my wallet and I dont have my student ID with me, something that I need to get into the game because of my student ticket. So already dressed in my kilt, sporran, high sox and Scottish rugby jersey, I ran from her flat all of about 11 very busy city blocks to my flat with no kilt pin, so things where flying if you get my drift and or pun.
After getting to my flat sweating like no one has very sweated before I grabbed my ID. Due to a hour of peer pressure by the Jerks of American men I had brunch with who were not wearing kilts and the pain I was feeling from wearing compression shorts for an extended peroid of time, I desided to ask a Scottish girl in my flat block what I should wearing under my kilt. Once again, I use the name Scottish girl because I do not want to use her name, she is not a Scottish version of an American girl doll, but she is a real girl. Any ways, she was all like "be a real Scotts men, wear nothing!" So I was like "shit!" why didn't I think of that. went back down stairs to my flat took off my compression shorts, felt much more liberated and received help finding a bus by my flat mate. Hop on a double level bus to the feild, went to the very top, was very aware that I was wearing nothing under my kilt at that time. Sat by my self on the very busy bus and was soon surrounded by other men wearing kilts which greatly helped my self asteam, which had been very low since my run back to my flat. I get to the feild strut through the kilt wearing clouds get inside and find my group of Americans that where as drunk as they were a hour ago. Go to our seat for the beginning events for the game. When the game started and I had to sit down then is when it got cold and very much the seat I was sitting on was very cold. The game was flipping sick, no other words could discribe it. The crowd was very active, Scotland won and I know most if not all the words of the Scottish national anthem, so I fit in. For the rest of the game I will let the films declear my stance. After the game my smaller group of American walked back to the area of Edinburgh we live in and to a Irish bar to watch the Ireland vs England game. It was nice to watch England loose, oops, no I stand by it. After a long long day I was able to colllect my things at the American girls flat go to the market still in my kilt and have a qick dinner before back into the night for clubbing.
